Where do i start with this one? Right lets just say i adored how the book started with a bang right in the thick of it to get a good feel on Rowan and who she is, as she sets in motion events that will hlmake her question everything about vampires and even herself. An urban fantasy romance featuring Rowan McQuaid, a disgraced valkyrie curse-breaker who accidentally opens a tomb of vengeful vampires. As a first timer reading by this author i have to admit i am a fan and went ahead and bought the rest of the series! If you haven’t got your copy of Valkyrie Cursed yet, it’s available on Amazon and free on Kindle Unlimited. Next week, we’ll be back on a regular schedule with all the regular features. Partly because I haven’t had time to read, and partly because I want to give Valkyrie Cursed its own spotlight for a little while, on Wednesday I will be featuring a few reviews from readers of the book. Which of course, I’m over the moon about.

With over 50 reviews on Goodreads right now and an average rating of 4.73, I think it’s safe to say that readers are enjoying this book. There were of course times where I wondered if anyone would even like Valkyrie Cursed but the response to the book has been overwhelming. For me, this is huge, I’ve never had a book do this well and now I’m keeping track of figures, I’ve got a record to beat for next time. Valkyrie Cursed has so far made it up to #25 in the Magic Realism category, and up to #2,000 in the whole Amazon store. Releasing a book with a week-long plan is a tough regime, and it’s even tougher when you really care about succeeding. I barely slept four hours a night – I don’t even have kids – and I ate more junk food than I have the last three months. The series is underway: book two is already finished, book three is half finished, and I’m deep in the planning stages for book four. It may not be the best book I ever write, but it’s the best one I’ve ever written so far. Long story short, I’m super proud of having written this book. I talk a lot about other people’s awesome books on this site, and I want to take a little time to talk about mine. But this week I want to talk about it pretty much non-stop. I couldn’t talk about Valkyrie Cursed much last week due to being insanely busy dealing with release week.
